… 300$? That must be some sort of typo or something. Some of the most popular acts in NA don’t even charge that much.

    • http://twitter.com/YGLcrazyxcami OH YOU CAME?

nope not a typo. confirmed through email and phone.

      • Moob

At least it made my decision of going or not clearer, LOL. Too bad, would have been a cool trip. I mean, there are the cheapest for 50 bucks… but I’ve been to shows with bad views and it’s not worth watching over a big monitor… you can do that online at home for free. >_<

        • http://twitter.com/YGLcrazyxcami OH YOU CAME?

$300 has its perks you’ll see soon.

Some people need to be more realistic with how they spend their money and imo, no artist is worth that much money O.o. 2NE1 are excellent.. but come on. I’d be hoping for that price.. they bring in a live band or something to warrant having to charge that much.

            • http://twitter.com/YGLtazanya tazanya ♥ 2NE1 ♠♠♠♠

They will be performing with the a live band. Moreover, how another person spends their entertainment money isn’t really for anyone to condemn or praise, it’s their own personal disposable income to spend as they wish. I work really hard for the money I earn. You may not think 2NE1 is worth spending this amount to see perform live, but having seen them with my own eyes at their Korean concert last year as well as in NY at BNB and at YG Family Concert 2010, I have not one qualm on spending this amount to see them, because to me they are worth it.

Though I respect your opinion, I don’t happen to share your sentiments. It’s cool though because we can’t all have the same viewpoints, opinions, or handle situations the same.

I’d be so happy to spend it, after seeing them in December at MTV Iggy’s Show I’d be whipping out the money now. But for many times are hard and so I guess alot of us were disappointed. I’m not so much. Bc I’ll still go. But in some aspect Joo is right, I once heard an artist concert tickets were $500! It’s so much money, money that could come in handy if anything. But I do agree Taz if you have it get it! I agree with you both.

There is no judgement to anyone who can’t afford to go, because yes for some times are hard however, for those that are able to afford it, and are able to attend, we should not be judged either. Joo’s comment felt very judgmental to me, if they did not intend it that way, I understand, I just felt I had to share my feelings on the matter.

            • Joo

“SOME” people need to be realistic with their money. Meaning some people can’t afford to travel to Tim Buck Too to see an hour and a half to 2 hour show so those people NEED to be realistic with their money. I think you might have misinterpreted what I was saying there… I also use my “disposable” income for charities in my community for people who can’t afford to eat so…. I might be looking at things a little bit differently.

            • http://twitter.com/YGLtazanya tazanya ♥ 2NE1 ♠♠♠♠

As do I, as has YGL on several occasions, the point I was making was that, who are you to judge what is a “realistic” expense for another person. What may not be realistic for you may be very realistic for another person. Everyone is different and we obtain our joy in different ways. Attending a 2ne1 concert for me isn’t just about seeing 2ne1, but also my fellow blackjacks and YGL ‘family’ who I have shared so many ups and downs over the year. It’s also a great way to spend a vacation in addition to doing other things.

    the stage is really small..

  • clariza

Wah! $300 dollars! Ahh I hope Nokia isn’t that expensive! TT.TT

  • 000

The $300 isn’t for the VIP Package? That’s outrageously expensive….

  • http://www.facebook.com/talisa.nieves Talisa Nieves

Okay so the 50 Dollar one’s for me! :( ( $300 is so expensive!

  • Nana

Lmao oh wow. I will never complain about SMTown being too expensive again. With their having that much more groups/artists performing. This is crazy..

  • Zeushero

They said 300 was for VIP packages

    • Moob

      Hopefully so… lol

  • Fin

LOL NO. Sorry but for one group this is way too expensive.

  • validora

can anyone tell me where i’d be approximately if i used 100$ or 80$? “seated” is not the most specific thing in the world :/

  • Fin

hey if we all get cheap seats and there’s a lot of empty spots closer up maybe we’ll be moved :P

  • tooeeneewan

$300 is not bad for 2NE1, they are the best band of the world by the way. Just think about it, it is not really that bad $75 to Bom, $75 to Dara, $75 to CL, $75 to Minzy. See them in the Flesh straight from K-Pop. OR… there is $200 – $50 range.

My issue is not the price but cameras… will they allow SLR’s….

  • http://twitter.com/sabiLee91 Sabina Lee

I do not like this stage at all! So small and doesn’t provide an opportunity to be closer to the girls. This sucks. Couldn’t they have a bigger and better stage?!

  • jr923

anyone know the presale codes for the nj concert?

  • jr923

    anyone have presale ticket codes?

  • mblaqcnblue93

I GOT MY TICKETS FOR NJ!!! But the ticket prices for general admission are ridiculously priced at $300. No thanks, I got seats with a good view for a fair price :D

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000696042145 Najihah Najwa

    yay!

  • ToAny1

SMTOWN is $150 a ticket to see several artists. This, wow. I know for a fact NO ONE has $300 for a concert ticket. Just because they’re new in America, doesn’t mean they can sell tickets for that much. If that’s their way of spreading the news of 2NE1, it’s not going to work’ ecspecially considering the economy in America.

    $80-$100 range is resonible.
