2NE1′s Maknae – A noblewoman in the world of dance with a lovely and matured voice; Her Grandmother is also a legendary cultural icon of Korea’s dance scene.

Q26: Among 2NE1 songs, Which song could best reflect how you’re feeling now?
<I AM THE BEST> During a photo shoot, my expressions will not turn out well if there’s no feeling like “I’m the best”. Therefore, I chose this song.

Q27: Your strength and weakness.
My strength is that I’m comfortable to be with and generous like a guy, but at the same time, the distinguishing feature of an O blood type is carelessness which is my weakness.

Q28: Fill in the given blank “Surprisingly ____”
Surprisingly feminine. (Laughs) My hobby is culinary and knitting. I even knitted scarves as gifts for the members (2NE1) as well as for the staffs around me.

Q29: The most touching moment of all 2NE1 events?
It was during our concert. It was very moving especially when we sang, everybody was looking at one another and jumping together.

Q30: Which places would you recommend to the readers of RAY magazine if they want to visit Korea?
Garosu-gil. Reason being a lot of female university students like to visit the cafes, hotels and clothing stores there so I recommend this place.

Q31: Which artiste would you like to collaborate with?
If there’s a chance, I would like to collaborate with a rock band. I like “SHINE A LIGHT” among all. It’d be great if we can sing together!

Q32: What is Minzy’s war robe?
It would be hard if its war robe. Is it alright if it’s clothing that I like? I like clothes that has the feel of a rich kid. Like a hip-hop guy wearing a suit, that kind of menswear style. I’m often dressed neutrally.

Q33: Meanwhile, please also talk about the feel of your casual clothes today?
A cap, a shirt cast over with a biker’s jacket and black jeans for the bottom.

Q34: If you’re a guy, which member would you want to be in a relationship with?
Dara. I look very strong so I want to protect Dara who’s very feminine.

Q35: Your ideal type?
I like older man (Heart shape). No specific age requirements because I feel that understanding one another is most important.

Q36: If you could date for the first time during Spring, what is your ideal kind of date?
I want to hold hands and come to Japan to see the cherry blossoms. Of course to also bring my own handmade lunchbox~

Q37: On what occasions will make you think that “It’s good to be a Maknae”?
When I fail, everyone would love me and comfort me by saying “It’s okay it’s okay”. Everyone would be like my best friends and be very friendly so there’re no disadvantages to being the Maknae.

Q38: The popular trend in the 2NE1 nowadays?
Because everyone is so different, it’s hard to give an example! My hobby is reading books because I like literary/essays, so I read a lot.

Q39: What would you do to boost your confidence?
Although it’s not self hypnotizing, I will continuously tell myself strongly that “I can do it! I can do it!”. I will also repeatedly read a book over and over again.

Q40: Artistes that you’re in good terms with?
Bigbang members! My relations with every member are good. Previously, I received a ‘6% DOKIDOKI’ toy as a birthday gift from TOP sunbae-nim that he bought from Harajuku.

Q41: How many text messages do you send out in a day? What emotion icon do you often use?
Recently, I use applications like ‘Kakao’ and ‘LINE’ a lot to communicate as compared to text messages. For ‘LINE’, I often use the cute rabbit and teddy emotion icon.

Q42: Recently, the moment when you think I can do it (I’m the best)?
I often think that “I can do it!” whenever I am diligently working out. There’s a gym in our company so I will workout two hours every day for sure.

Q43: What moment do you feel most relaxed when you’re busy every day?
When listening to music in the car when travelling from location to location. I like to listen to Corinne Bailey Rae’s.

Q44: If you could change your hairstyle next time, what kind of style would you prefer?
I am always having short hairstyles so I would like my hair to be longer next time. Color wise, I want a similar color like what I have now. I want long hair!

Q45: If you’re allowed to, what would you want to do most?
I want go on date with a guy. But there’s the dating ban (Laughs). I debuted when I was 16 and have not dated a guy even once. So if there’s a chance……!

Q46: Your nickname when you were young.
When I was young, my face was round and people said I look like a steamed bun. My surname is “Kong” so I was called “Kong steamed bun (Laughs)”.

Q47: Were you were already very outstanding with your dancing when you were young?
I’ve loved dancing ever since I was young. I was also partly influenced by my grandmother, a dancer, after watching her dance postures and movements.

Q48: Minzy who’s talented in culinary. What are your favourite dishes?
Korean Soybean Paste Stew and Bean Sprout Soup. The key point in cooking these dishes is to use a good sauce! (Laughs) This is the most important point.

Q49: Usually, How is BOM like?
She’s cute. The way she speaks is very adorable too. A bit crazy too but her point in acting crazy is really adorable too.

Q50: Recently, what makes you feel like “It’ll be great if I could achieve it”?
I love making clothes. If there’s a chance, I would like to participate in manufacturing clothes.
