In addition to the many interviews 2NE1 has done during their New Evolution Concert World Tour, there have also been plenty of CFs released these past few weeks. In July, 2NE1 were involved in an Adidas Originals #represent project which included big names like Nicki Minaj and Jeremy Scott. Adidas recently uploaded a one minute edited version of the CF solely of 2NE1, with the girls walking and dancing along the streets of Tokyo.

These Adidas Originals #represent ads have also been spotted all over the world, from Malaysia to Romania, and dozens of countries in between. To no surprise, Blackjacks worldwide get all excited when they spot even the smallest signs of these Adidas ads, be it the pictures or the CF, whether in their local Adidas stores or on the TV! And who can blame them eh? Adidas has given the girls this opportunity to go worldwide and into all of our countries (virtually). Of course we would go into a mess of blubbering excitement!

The worldwide impact of this Adidas ad were also noted by 2NE1 themselves as CL mentioned in their latest interview with Wall Street Journal that someone in the streets of New York/LA (???) could identify her as the girl in the Adidas CF!

Cass Light CF

Aside from the Adidas CF, leader CL has also started out on her own solo endorsement. By now, we have seen many CFs centered on Dara, but this time it’s CL’s turn with a commercial of her own. Collaborating with actor Lee Dong Wook for Cass Light Beer, CL has filmed a few versions of the CF but so far, only two versions have been released – one on an iceberg and the other in space.

Considering that Korea had considered passing a law preventing anyone under 25 from advertising alcohol, it is a huge relief that this CL’s solo endorsement  was able to make its showcase.  And what a great showcase it is!

In the CFs, CL shows off her fluid dance moves while Lee Dong Wook TRIES to imitate, quite hilariously, though with little success. It ends with both of them drinking their beer cans and expressing its great taste. The two of them do make quite a matching, hilariously adorable, pair, don’t they?

Random netizens on CL in the Cass Space CF: “CL is the owner of a truly luxurious body“,”CL must have been casted as a model cos of her body“. Netizens were apparently pleasantly surprised by how good CL’s bod is cos 2NE1 is widely known as the reps for boyish bodies. Which is strange since Minzy & Bom’s bodies are FAR from boyish, anyhoo it’s nice to see positive netizen comments!

Nikon Photo Movie CFs

A CF article is never complete without some clips of Dara, whom by now we can safely say, is an amazing endorser. This time she returns with a four part movie promoting the Nikon 1 J2 where three men vye for her attention with adorable proposals.

The first episode starts off with Dara waking up from her nap in the office. She quickly gets up, but falls backwards and slowly leaves embarrassed. As this happens, one of her working mates captures this scene on camera. Alone, Dara becomes frustrated about her destroyed heels and the guy comes up and leaves a camera and his shoes near her without her noticing. Dara sees her own embarrassing moment on camera and wears the shoes leaving her happier than before.

In the second episode, Dara and her working mates come together for a group photo taken by a male. He sees her cute face on the camera causing him to feel attracted to her. Later Dara enters a crowded elevator and stands in front of the guy. He slowly goes in for a kiss on the back of her head which shocks her. The elevator stops and everyone leaves, including the man who feels slightly embarrassed and gives her the camera. Dara notices the group photo, herself, and a note with a kiss causing Dara’s priceless expression.

In the last episode, which is my favorite, Dara takes pictures of herself and notices a man taking off his shirt. She accidentally takes multiple pictures of him creating a wave of flashes, which sends Dara running and leaving her camera on the table. The man checks it out and leaves the camera on her desk. Dara looks though the pictures and sees the same one she took of the guy, but instead this time the shirt has his phone number on it!
