The 2012 SBS Gayo Daejun PD has revealed that CL and Sung Si Kyung will be performing Yoo Jae Ha’s ‘사랑하기 때문에’ (Because I Love You) in a jazz arrangement.

SBS PD: “2NE1′s leader, talented rapper CL will be performing Because I Love You with Sung Si Kyung and their performance will focus on showing off the charm of vocalists.“ (A/N: So CL will most likely be singing and not rapping? ^^)

As this is a meeting of 2 singers of very different genres, anticipation is high as they have revealed the song that they are going to sing. It has attracted great attention that the representative singer of ballads, Sung Si Kyung, and CL who most focuses on electronic, hip hop songs and etc will be attempting the hit song of genius singer-songwriter, Yoo Jae Ha.

Referred to by some as ‘K-Pop’s Mozart.”, Yoo Jae Ha is a revered musician. However, on November 1, 1987, less than three months after his first and only album was released, he was tragically killed in a car accident, at age 25. Prior to his death he was a prolific songwriter, providing songs for luminaries of Korean music such as Cho Yong-Pil, Kim Hyeon-Sik, Lee Mun-Se. In addition, he was the 1st K-pop artist to have a music festival named after him, the first to receive a tribute album, and legions of important K-pop artists who worship his music.
