Hello YGLers!

It’s that time of the year when we have a influx of special 2NE1 related dates to remember. Can you guess the one that is coming up soon? It’s CL’s 23rd Birthday on February the 26th!!!

The Message Book is already on its way to South Korea — YIPPPEEEEE! Here is the cover!

Ahh, it is slightly painful knowing how time flies, but also a proud moment when we realize that in the past year we’ve been lucky enough to watch CL mature and become even more beautiful, inside and out. Sometimes we take for granted that behind the fierce persona our Leader has, she is a young women who is incredibly kindhearted and heartwarming. Thus, we wanted to celebrate CL focusing on her sweet nature!

You may have noticed that recently YGL has been organizing “charity events” in the name of 2NE1 members for our birthday projects. This is because, although we realize that giving gifts to the girls is a lovely gesture, we know they have a passion for many charitable causes and feel they would appreciate that us fans are also influenced by their actions and humbleness.

It is with this thought and recognition of CL’s great attachment to this organization that we will be donating to Holt: Children’s Services [more information on Holt here] for CL’s birthday project!

As you all know, CL has visited a Holt Center several times and she is particularly attached to adorable Dojoon (in the above picture). Holt is an renowned organization, which has continually striven to promote adoption and child welfare programs that enable children to have families of their own.
