[ANNOUNCEMENT] Update on Site Crashes/Maintenance

Hello Everyone,

First, we would like to apologize for the extended down time of the website. Due to a corrupt plug-in, our site overpowered our servers, causing them to crash. However, finding the corrupted plug-in was a time consuming and much more difficult task than we initially thought.

You will notice that there are a number of missing features now that the site is back up. We are keenly monitoring the servers and adding back features one by one to ensure that they are 100% operational before adding any more. Some features may never be reactivated if we cannot find a stable configuration.

We will continue to troubleshoot options to make the browsing experience as user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing as possible. We encourage you to browse and comment as you normally would. We want to test out our current configuration with an active site to make sure everything continues to be stabilized.

If a function doesn’t work or your page looks odd, troubleshoot the problem by doing one or more of the following:

1) Hard Refresh by pressing F5;
2) Log out and Log back in again (forum only);
3) Clear your browsers cache (you can just clear the ygladies.com files if you don’t want to do a full cache delete); and/or
4) Screencap or link us to the problematic issue and post in this thread so we can better assist you.
