PROJECT UPDATES – Yesterday, with the help of one of our wonderful YGLers we delivered Part 1 of Project 24 “The World is 2NE1′s“!!  Part 2 will be delivered as soon as all the renaming gifts arrive in South Korea.

• 2NE1’s Gifts & Project Donations – Still Accepting Donations

Unfortunately, there are still some gifts that have taken an inordinately long time to arrive in South Korea.  Those gifts will be delivered shortly after they arrive.  Luckily, some of our great gifts did made it safe and sound, and were delivered on May 16th to 2NE1′s Official Fanstaff.

First, these AWESOME custom tees that each reflect 2NE1′s personalities and colors, and they turned out wonderful.  As you can see, the logos on the back are the usernames of each and every person who timely contributed to iBJTV, the mosaic, gifts, and/or donations as well as all staff members who were active from May 18, 2011 through May 1st, 2012.  Do you like them?

We also designed custom cupcakes for the girls.  We tried to incorporate both the girls’ individual tastes and their hobbies with our “World is 2NE1′s” theme.  Cakefactory came through again. Their bakers are real artisans, and did a marvelous job of bringing our designs to life.

Do you see a recurring theme in the shirts and cupcakes? We tried to match the girls’ personalities with some continents in the world and personalized their gifts accordingly. Dara got Asia, due to her love for ramen, curry, Nikon and Etude endorsements, Bom is Europe with her love for Moomin and Macaroons, Minzy got the Americas due to her love for dance, DJ-ing and the grafitti-like style of her lips drawings, while CL got Africa as she had said that she wanted to live in Egypt once, is likened to lions and loves animal prints! Don’t they match the girls perfectly?

• Blackjacks’ 1000 Kisses of Love Mosaic  – Delivered to 2NE1 on May 16th

Originally planned as part of 2NE1’s 1000 Days project, we decided to extend the 1000 Kisses Mosaic into their anniversary project to allow more members an opportunity to take part. Although we didn’t reach our 1000 goal, we did end up with a FABULOUS mosaic of 600+ kisses for our girls.

The mosaic is quite huge, and we are eternally grateful to Lena for lugging it on a Seoul city bus to the YGE offices.  Thank you again Lena.

• 2NE1’s iBlackjackTV Season 2 –  Will be delivered with Part 2

One of the highlight’s of YGL’s second anniversary project was iBlackjackTV, so YGL brought it back. We want to thank everyone who submitted the videos.  Season 2 will be give to the girls on a custom USB.

• 2NE1’s Travel Guide Messagebook “2ANYONE vol.2 – World Travel Guide Edition“ –  Will be delivered with Part 2

Messagebook Preview

As part of 2NE1’s third anniversary messagebook, we’ve organize messages by country and share some of the top places to visit when the girls start their world travels. Our fantastic Illustrators/Graphic Designers have worked tirelessly to get the messagebook ready for the girls.  Each 2NE1 member will receive their own specially designed YGL “Travel Book” along with our other gifts.

•  2NE1’s Giving Spirit  

Before heading off to other countries, 2NE1 has shown a clear interest in being a part of charities and causes within Korea. In conjunction with the four major K-Blackjack fansites, YGL will be donating to Holt Charity in the name of 2NE1. We are proud to announce that generous YGLers donated over $350.00 to the United Blackjack charity event, which has been sent to Korea for inclusion in our remaining project.
